Wines that get too cold in transit can partially freeze causing the wine to expand in the bottle and slowly push the corks out of the neck of the bottle.
If you receive a shipment with damaged wines, please send photos of the wines in the box as they arrived to info@sommselect and we will file a claim on your behalf.
In most cases the wine will still be enjoyable if it experienced freezing temps in transit, but we will gladly credit you for the damages once we submit your claim.
